Thanks, I'll definitely have a look at it.

It probably comes down to the issue whether the use of the
checked_deleters is generally necessary or is only needed as Borland
workarounds, as the code suggests. In the latter case there should
probably by ifdefs or something. It looks like the checked deleters
effectively prevent breaking circular dependencies through the sizeof()
...
