Unreserved apologies if my words sounded like a personal attack, and I
certainly don't think Andrei is always wrong. However I do think he is
wrong to adopt a "I refuse to even try MPL and if you want Loki then it
has to be based on simpler metaprogramming library" attitude.

I'd much rather see certain components introduced into Boost on top of MPL,
and if MPL proves, after people have gained experience with it, too
complex, *then* we should investigate simpler alternatives. So IMHO Loki
typelists should be the *last* Loki component introduced into Boost, and
they should only be introduced if we really have to.

And this is why I think discussing this now is important. Andrei is
looking for help with doing work on Loki. I hope he gets help to do the
"right" work - where "right" means "right from my POV" :-).
