If the Spirit mailing list is any indication, we'll end up with broken
threads and confused readers as Boost members merrily hit Reply and send what
they think are public messages to just the original poster. When the poster
realizes this, we get more broken threads and confusing traffic as old
messages (meant to be public) are reposted out of order and out of context.
Then posters start using "Reply All" instead of "Reply", and we get tons of
duplicate messages.

(guilty of causing lots of the confusion on the Spirit list, until thankfully
it was changed back to reply to the list)
