This is a firm YES for inclusion.
This is a very difficult area to tackle and do well (I know - I have
tried!) and this looks to be a good foundation. There has been a lot of
good discussion about it, so by including it, it will get used and
improvements/additions will appear. Since I view Boost as a test bed for
future C++ standard library applications, this will prevent premature
standardisation.
