Will this distribution system also run tests to make sure that the installed
packages will run correctly on the user's system?  People might download a
package before checking its status on their compiler, or perhaps their using
a compiler for which the status is not yet known.  Either way, it would be
good if there was a way to run tests on the installed portions and verify
that everything is correct.
