Ahem.

Just to clarify, the chat session will be an administrative event, for
library contributors and moderators. We don't have to get all boost
participants online at once ;-). It's mostly going to be
invitation-only, but we'll entertain requests-to-participate from anyone
who wants to be involved in administering Boost.

Subject: [boost] Chat session

Hi,

Dave asked me to coordinate and organize the first Boost chat session.
IRC was what first came to mind when searching for a cross-platform,
open chat engine.

I have a lot of personal experience with DALnet and would be most
comfortable organizing things there, but OpenProjects seems to be "the
place" for things like this. Does anyone have any particular feelings
about either network (stability, average user intelligence, etc.)? I'm
leaning towards OpenProjects at the moment.

The hardest part is not going to be the technology but rather finding a
time during which all the people can get online at once :-)

-Justin

P.S.: You can contact me as "Pyxl" on either network.
