Beman has just lost his internet connectivity for at least a few days. He
asked me to announce this to the list in case people were trying to reach
him.

Our scheduled branch for release is going to slip accordingly, for at least
a week-and-a-half. Please take advantage of the opportunity given by this
extra grace period to stabilize the current CVS state.
