I think that Rob (and the rest of us) deserve a bit more than that -
misunderstanding or not, there is usually an explanation for why something
is necessary. It makes sense to provide an explanation, rather than a "you
don't get it, so I won't bother". Also, from reading this thread, I fail to
see the misunderstanding - I just see a discussion. A discussion should
preferably end with a reasonable conclusion.
