[boost] Guidance to configure a compiler for boost

Is there any guidance on how to go about configuring a compiler to use
the Boost libraries.  I have looked in the FAQ and not found any.

I want to configure the Digital Mars compiler v8.30 which has much
improved template support compared to earlier versions.
