[boost] building boost with gcc 3.2 ?

Hello

I'm trying to build boost under mandrake 9.0 (gcc 3.2)
but i'm experiencing problems when trying to make the bjam
executable.

And the bjam executable from www.boost.org don't work either
when i try to build boost

Is there a know issue with gcc3.2 ?
any advice will be appreciated
