If no more time is available, I'd have to vote against including the 
library in its current form. I've posted my concerns in other messages, 
but to summarise:

(1) The 1-step construction issue. In other words, whether:

    const MyClass object(ar);

can be supported.

(2) Whether the archive handles reference counts correctly.

(3) That variable length integers be supported.

(4) That the limits on version numbers etc are too small.
