A large number of changes to the Filesystem Library have been committed to
the CVS main trunk.

These changes close most of the issues which came up during the formal
review. Issues still outstanding are listed in the "Do-list" which is part
of the documentation.

While the core design of the library is unchanged, there were a number of
new functions added, particularly to class path. Class path members were
renamed, several flavors of a complete() function were provided, there were
many documentation additions and fixes, and many new test cases were added.
The exception class has been given additional functionality to provide a
portable error code. Etc, etc.

With so many changes, it may be worthwhile holding a mini-review so people
who care about the library can report any problems they still think need
addressing. So please take a look and post any comments to the list, or
email them to me privately. Please try to get your comments in by
Wednesday, the 18th.

Thanks,

PS: If the issue is already on the do-list, it is still active and doesn't
need to be mentioned again.
