Any Boost developers familiar with Windows that can help out? This is _way_ 
out of my area of expertise.

All I can possibly think of is to look at the preprocessed source (you can 
send it to me privately if you'd like) to see if the right headers are 
getting included. (e.g., is <memory> getting included? If not, that would 
explain why auto_ptr isn't being found).
