Fortunately, Gustavo Guerra privately pointed me to TortoiseCVS
(www.tortoisecvs.org).

I just looked at, downloaded and install it.
A few __minutes__ after reading the documentation I was successfully able to
checkout, add and commit the optional files!

It's on CVS now.

So, what else should I do? Is there something I need to setup in order to
add optional to the regression tests?
