To put things into prospective, if one is to go this route, she can as 
well just implement built-in PP-lambda support in the Wave itself, and 
get whatever syntax she wants, e.g.

    BOOST_PP_REPEAT(
          5
        , BOOST_PP_CAT(#2, #1) = #1
        , int x
        )

The only caveat is that it wouldn't be C++ anymore (nor C++ + C99).
