I know the thread was long, but you should read it through to the end.
It was discovered that win32.hpp was silently changing the behavior of
some programs. The fix is to remove the min/max trickery from win32.hpp
and fix the rest of boost to work properly in the presence of the
min/max macros.

I will be making the changes as soon as I am able.
