I'd recommend starting with the test_dimensional_analysis.cpp code -  
it's
a short demonstration of abstract dimensional analysis with nothing  
whatsoever
to do with any physical units.  There isn't much commenting, but for  
someone
with a math background, I don't think it will be too hard to figure out  
what it does.
Beware, AFAIK it only compiles with gcc 3.3 or VC 7.1.
