Larry Evans wrote a stream buffer to handle indentation. There appears
to be a fairly recently modified version in the sandbox under
boost/io/filters, but there is no documentation.

If you like, I'll try to post an OutputFilter which manages
indententation, but I'm not sure what your requirements are. What
interface would you like?
