strange. I can't reproduce the error:

#include <boost/spirit.hpp>

compiles just fine for me. Are you sure you have the latest from the
CVS? My CVS has:

    first == (std::numeric_limits<CharT>::min)() ? first : first-1;

in range_run.ipp(57)
