I agree 100%. A little humor here and there, in fact, is good!
For one, it relieves stress, and promotes a good feeling for
the reader. IMHO, that's very important. It's hard to get
through a very serious book, for instance. I prefer reading
a book with a bit of humor here and there. Same with web pages.
If it's at odds with the general feel of the site as it is now,
so what? To be blunt, I feel that the site needs a major overhaul.
I find it to be, ehm... boring. I hope this is a start of
something new!
