*** PH.D. POSITION (GENERIC SOFTWARE LIBRARIES) ***

Boost inside your Volvo?! In a joint project between Chalmers University
and industrial partners from the automotive industry, there is an opening
for a Ph.D. position specifically in the area of generic library design.
The successful candidate will have the rare opportunity to earn a Ph.D.
with a dissertation in which software is not just of "academic" value and
interest, but really matters.

Booster are encouraged to apply, to get back to me with recommendations,
or to pass this advertisement on to others---this project is a big chance
to implant generic programming in the (not just Swedish) car industry!

Note that PhD positions in Sweden are regular jobs, with social benefits,
paid vacation, parental leave, etc.

I attach the entire announcement below; CEDES/4 is the position of
interest. For further details, please get in touch with me.
