It is confusing because as Roman Dementiev pointed out, even though the
Windows API has supported large files for a long time, some older versions
of that operating system may not implement the functionality, particularly
if they only supported file systems which were limited to smaller files.
I'd hate to see otherwise useful Boost code held back because it didn't
support large files on systems which don't normally support large amounts
of data anyhow.
