It seems to be a bug on MSVC7.1 compiler.

that foolish compiler has some conflict on matching 
signature...

'basic_format<Ch,Tr,Alloc>::size_type 
boost::basic_format<Ch,Tr,Alloc>::size(void) const'
and
'boost::basic_format<Ch,Tr,Alloc>::size_type 
boost::basic_format<Ch,Tr,Alloc>::size(void) const'

i think this is ultimately same signature. but, msvc71 
doesn't..

for this, i used some #if tricks. :)

attached patchfile contains my modifications.
