No. Which is why the location is stored in env vars. Still, what led to 
this was whether to use %HOME% or %HOMEDRIVE%%HOMEPATH% on Windows. I 
say the latter, as those envvars exist. The former doesn't, unless you 
(have) set it explicitly.
