Sorry, no link. Bit I have described the registry value for this in my
other post.
You also can use the "fsutil" command:
fsutil.exe behavior query disable8dot3
queries your setting, and
fsutil.exe behavior set disable8dot3 1
disables 8.3 alias generation.
