Well so far I've got as far as installing the latest Intel package and
confirming that there is a problem, there are also linker errors on Madriva
from anything that uses <threading>multi: it complains about not
finding -lrt, that lib has been present on every other Linux install I've
seen, but apparently not Mandriva, unless I've forgotten to install
something.
I'll let you know if I can figure out anything more,
