Robert,

It has been nearly two weeks since I sent my last reply and I'm still  
waiting for an answer.

To summarize, I  explained why we should recommend to authors of  
serialization functions to use the proposed array serialization  
mechanism  and why this cannot be done in a fast array serialization  
archive.
