I use http://www.assembla.com/ for some small personal projects just to keep 
them accessible from other places and backed up incase of hardware 
failure... not too sure how good it is compared to other places I just 
happened upon it one day a while back and it works for me.  It has trac and 
svn hosting and is very quick to set up.
