The following may be important in the future for the test library

After building/installing the 20070817 snapshot:

and running a test, I got:

-g -o framework.o -c
In file included from
In function â??boost::test_tools::predicate_result
boost::test_tools::tt_detail::bitwise_equal_impl(const Left&, const
error: â??CHAR_BITâ?? was not declared in this scope

(BTW, I haven't yet tracked down the reason for the odd characters.)

I *think* I tracked down the problem to a difference between:

The 4.1.2 contained:

#include <bits/c++config.h>
#include <cstring>
#include <climits>
#include <cstdlib>
#include <cstddef>

but the 4.3 contained:

#include <bits/c++config.h>
#include <cstddef>
#include <bits/functexcept.h>

The <climits> #includes <limits.h> which defines CHAR_BIT.
