[boost] [FileSystem] Link errors on OS X 10.4.11 with Intel C++ Vers 10.1

While trying to create an intermediate dynamic library on OS X  
10.4.11 (Intel) that utilizes boost::file_system I receive the  
following link errors:

Linking CXX shared library Bin/libMXADataModel.dylib

This is reproducible on the system by simply including boost/ 
filesystem/operations.hpp in any file that is built into the library.
