Try using the native win32 subversion binaries instead. I've seen
similar problems with the Cygwin version on Windows XP, as has a
colleague of mine, especially when we were using svn from inside cygwin
bash scripts or 'find' operations. The problems disappeared when we
switched to using the native binaries.
