Another feature you might want to consider supporting is 
construction/assignment of a future<void> from any type of future<T>.  
Somewhat analagous to void* behavior.  Braddock's future lib and libpoet 
support this.  It's useful for code that is only interested in when a future 
is ready and not its specific value.
