This has come up often enough that I think this is an excellent idea: I'd be
happy to help with macro usage and other details, but the most important
thing is for some docs and tests to get written :-)
It might also be useful to have a very quick mini-review of an addition like
this so folks can check that the names are all sensible choices etc (I have
a couple of minor additions that might benifit similarly). If it would help
I could set up a directory in the sandbox to add all the changes to?
