Good and bad news for the regression tests on cygwin:

good: python run.py now works in an empty directory. I think regression.py was in an internet cache somewhere and not updated.
bad: I have started regression tests on cygwin and after 6 hours, I ran out of disk space with 25 Gbytes used by the regression tests (just one compiler!). Is there a way to know if I was close to the
end? I imagine that it comes from the size of debug objects that must be larger than on linux. I can try again on another disk at night.
