The meetings are not open to "the public" in the sense of sightseeing
tourists. The meeting hosts are usually paying a "per person" fee to
the venue, and the rooms are only set up to handle so many people.
C++ knowledgeable people who are not committee members are welcome,
however, and there are always at least a few of these at each meeting.
There were a dozen or so in this category at the Frankfurt meeting, a
few more than usual. There is a bit of protocol, which I can privately
pass on to any interested Boosters.
