Subject: [boost] [serialization] portable non-floating-point binary library.

Hi all,
If adding floating point support to portable binary serialization is so
hard/time-consuming, why not just have a portable non-floating-point
binary library in boost as an intermediate step? Surely it would be more
convenient for the community, instead of having to build in or make a
library out of the files in
https://svn.boost.org/trac/boost/browser/trunk/libs/serialization/example.
(I did search the archives and couldn't find any answers, if I missed some
threads please point them out.)
Thanks,
Mostafa
