This sort of thing happens for many reasons as you probably surmised already. The list is fast paced. It's possible that the timing of your preview was poor and that many missed it. It is also possible that there was little to be said that hadn't been said before. You are right in inferring interest from many directions, so I'm glad you weren't discouraged by the limited response to your preview.
