Could you check if Valgrind complains with

{ boost::chrono::stopclock<> stopclock; }
or
{ boost::chrono::stopclock<> stopclock(BOOST_CURRENT_FUNCTION); }
or
{ boost::system::error_code ec; 
boost::chrono::stopclock<> stopclock(std::cerr, ec); }
