I tried on both Windows and Linux and on both platforms I'm getting the 
same error message:

G:\dev\gil\review\_svn\trunk\libs\gil\io_new\doc>bjam

error: Attempt to redeclare already existing project id 
'/boost/exception' location '../../../../libs/exception/build'
