The following instructions for installing libc++:

are Mac OS X 10.6 oriented.
To install on linux, you'll need to make some changes to those
instructions:

  http://llvm.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=9153

Also, the following modification needs to be made for
use of std::cout in libcxx to be useful on linux:
