I requested the check sometime ago and I had no too much comments. 
Here they are the test on trunk

There are some issues under sun- 5.10, an issue with Boost.Chrono with msvc-
9.0 (missing include 
of <boost/type_traits/is_arithmetic.hpp> I guess), and other minor
issues.

I have updated the docs and committed only the pdf format.
