Note there is an alternative route from DocBook to PDF that goes via
LaTeX instead of FO (http://dblatex.sourceforge.net/).
The resulting PDFs
- are smaller than those generated with a FO processor,
- have nice looking formulas (eg Boost.Accumulators), but
- do not have nice syntax coloring in source listings.
