I consider myself an outsider to this discussion because I never used 
CMake, but I would like to point out that there are also people (like 
me) that really like Boost.Build. I /can/ compare it with SCons (and 
classic Make), and I like it better because of the cleaner syntax and 
the easy cross-compiler configuration. Learning the basics took me at 
most an hour. In fact it's not totally unlikely that I will use it for 
all my future projects.
