not sure, but it's easy to find out. In my project, we built boost 1.46.0 on
3 platforms: qnx6.4, debian(?), windowsXP/7. So I would believe it's o.k.
with RHEL.

In our debian build, it is 64bit.
Please try building boost on whatever platform you want, it's not hard.
