Boost 1.51 doesn't exist yet.

The problem was occurring on trunk for about a day before I fixed it. It
was an oops in proto -- my bad. This problem never occurred on the
release branch. If you use trunk, these things happen. Unless you really
need something that only lives in trunk, I'd advise against using it. It
can get pretty hairy.
