Thanks for the explanation. Unfortunately, injection via "svn:externals" 
breaks all "git svn" (unofficial) mirrors and working copies. "git svn" just 
does not track externals right now. No big problem, I will just checkout a 
pure svn copy until the git convertion is finished.
