Using Thunderbird it is relatively easy to setup so that when replying
it quotes the original text by adding a '>' with each line of the text.
Then you can open a line after the quoted text and make your reply.

I am aware that Outlook does not normally do this but there should be
some way to achieve that with Outlook. Is there not an Outlook forum
somewhere where you can ask how to do this with Outlook ?
