I was not aware of this section. It would be better if this information 
were on the reference manual section.

IMO, this is in contradiction with the reference documentation 
http://www.boost.org/doc/libs/1_55_0/libs/type_traits/doc/html/boost_typetraits/reference/integral_constant.html

 From mpl.html "Purely as an implementation detail, this means that 
|true_type| inherits from |boost::mpl::true_|"
 From integral_constant.html "typedef integral_constant<bool, true> 
true_type;"

The documentation should be updated to make the whole coherent.
