Yeah I implemented one of those a decade ago for my next gen
platform. Thing is, Carl Sassenrath has us all beat on that
technology, it's basically REBOL. And he did it a lot better than I
did (mine was clunky).

Oh without doubt that's way beyond a GSoC. It took me over a year
working on it full time. I was simply illustrating we were talking
about different things, that's all.
