I agree. I've been annoyed by this issue for years (because tools like
Cmake can't automatically find which version to link because Boost doesn't
give a default logic to find which arch are these binaries).
Last time there was a discussion, most people agreed something should be
done but there
was no concensus on what to do exactly (nor was there a specific proposal).
